It is quick and easy to add a new users to Snoofa.

Adding New Users

Head to the Users area at the top of the System Settings and click the blue Add New User button.

There are various fields to fill out:

Email
Choose the unique email the user will login with. The invitation email with the login link will be sent to this email address.

First Name
Fill in the person’s first name.

Description
The optional description can be added to provide a brief biography of the user. Aside from showing on this page, this is used when showing some information about the specialist/expert involved in a lot on the online lot detail.

Phone Number
The phone number of the user will also show on the online lot detail biography.

Role
The roles you choose for the user are important as they determine the permissions they will have in the system. For example an owner and admin will see everything, but people with the other roles will not see the financial information on the global dashboard. Furthermore, the specialist role is needed for a user to be able to be assigned to a consignment and appear in an online bio. Users can have more than one role.

Profile URL

Position
You can add the user’s job title. This will show on the online lot detail biography.

Photo
Add a staff photo to add to the online lot detail biography.
